I love the aroma of buckwheat!!
It was unbelievably easy to be done even for me, who is not good at dealing with powder stuff. It is because we don't have to use the powder form of buckwheat :)

Pink amazake
I totally satisfied with myself!!
Even if no one praise me.
I prepared amazake, fermented rice porridge for breakfast. For incubating, as I used beni-koji spore, the color is pink!! That's the best color to energize you in the morning, is't it!?

sprouted chickpeas!!
How amazing!!! It's absolutely alive!!
I soaked chickpeas in water only less than 15hrs for making tenpeh. And it came out that it has sprouted!!
Yes, I will improve my English little by little. I'll write down here any achievements or anything I would like to praise myself.
Fingers crossed!!

Starlings murmuration
Flocks of thousands of Starlings were whirling in the sky above our head and shaped a fantastic acrobatic mass!!!
It seemed like they were entertaining us.
The shape of the flock is sometime like a northern light, sometimes a whale, sometimes a mashroom cloud.
what causes the ever-changing patterns of flocks remains still unknown. This phenomena of nature amazes us lucky enough to witness it.
After the starling watching, we went to a pub, very english style. People wanted to have fish and chips and talked faster about things I was not familiar with.
Too hard to follow the conversation...
It was an enduring time for me..

Our first batch Koji
I organized a Koji workshop to some people here and the koji has done after incbating for 3 nights.
We could enjoy how the koji penetrate into rice by my microscope as below!!!
It might have been much better if I could have a higher powered micro scope.
Life is to be amazed. This amazing micro world indeed does exist here around us and keep supporting our life.
